2K announced that it would establish a partnership with NBA Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant, and Thirty-Five Ventures, a company co-founded by Durant and entrepreneur Rich Kleiman. The NBA 2K mobile version allows players to enjoy a realistic, console-quality NBA game experience on iOS or Android. Durant will be the endorsement player experience for the third season of the NBA 2K mobile version. The mobile game is now available on the Apple App Store. In this long-term partnership, Durant and his Thirty-Five Ventures team will cooperate with 2K in future game development, exclusive content, and in-game merchandise. Durant's sports business platform The Boardroom will also work with 2K to develop original content. Besides, Durant's charity organization-Kevin Durant Charity Foundation-and 2K's charity department-2K Foundation-will collaborate on future stadium renovations and other projects to encourage impoverished young people worldwide. The Boardroom also made further comments on today's cooperation.

The NBA 2K Mobile Edition returns strongly in the third season with the following content:
Updated look and feel: Bring players gorgeous user interface updates, numerous game quality improvements, brand new card designs, and exclusive card themes. Players also can get new legendary players, including Manu Ginobili and Bill Walton, when they go live in the third season, and there will be more legendary players appearing in this season.

New event: King of the Court. Single players can test their skills in a brand new multi-day tournament. Face up to seven opponents in the single-elimination and elimination rounds and get points rewards; regardless of victory or defeat, you can enter another group match; view the global leaderboard that tracks each group's points and provides players with bonuses.

New card theme. Players can enjoy bi-weekly card themes starting from December 1st, including draft picks, historical stars, seasons, and holidays, as well as other unique high-level themes that will be launched throughout the season.

Other content: Players can also look forward to new soundtracks, new MyPLAYER equipment that will be launched fortnightly, and new jerseys, new stadiums, and player ratings that reflect the upcoming NBA season.
