The next-gen version of NBA 2K21 will be released on Xbox Series X/S on November 10 and PS5 on November 12. IGN scored 7 points for it today (November 17). IGN said that the game is okay. The next-gen version of NBA 2K21 is not only a powerful upgrade on the screen, but also includes some fixes for the problems that have plagued the 2K series for many years. But the bad thing is that the next-generation version of NBA 2K21 introduces some new issues, and a lot of VC content is still hideous.

IGN general comment:
The NBA 2K21 next-generation version has undergone a series of ambitious upgrades to escort the next-generation console. This is also one of the best sports games ever: smooth movements and excellent presentations. But the NBA 2K21 next-generation version still retains some of the remaining problems of the 2K series. The off-court part of the next-generation version of NBA 2K21 feels like an aerial relay received halfway. The MC model has great potential, but what is maddening is that MC relies heavily on a large amount of VC.

Nevertheless, the new MyNBA mode has enough depth and simplifies the whole model refreshingly and simply. The WNBA part of NBA 2K21 is an essential addition. In the end, it wasn't very reassuring that the next-generation version of NBA 2K21 failed to seize the opportunity for easy improvement.
